Kaiser Chiefs to return

by isleofman.com 21st March 2012

The Kaiser Chiefs are to make a return trip to the Isle of Man this summer, three years after their last sell-out gig.

The band will play the Villa Marina for two nights, the 21st and 22nd August.

The news has been announced by Island promoter Lenny Conroy who promised in 2009 he'd do everything possible to bring the Kaisers back.

It's a coup for his firm Triskel Promotions, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The last gig sold out in 40 minutes and proved a huge hit with Island rock fans.

Lenny says the Kasiers arrive during a hectic summer tour - but he's hoping the two-night stay means they'll have time to see a bit more of the Island this time

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Thurs 22nd) at 10am and are available online at villagaiety.com, via the Villa box office on 600 555 or in person at the Welcome Centre.
