Island needs to face up to changes

We need to get real about the way the world has changed.

That message came from the Chief Minister this morning.

Allan Bell has been answering questions in Tynwald about the Family Library and Mobile Library, both of which are earmarked for closure as part of budget cuts.

Mr Bell said there were organisations interested in running both of these operations, but stressed to members that there was a big difference in the number of people who were opposing the closures, compared with the relatively low numbers who used them.
