Bolton Wanderers owner hopeful for Fabrice Muamba

by isleofman.com 20th March 2012

The owner of Bolton Wanderers says he’s encouraged by the latest medical bulletin surrounding the club’s midfielder Fabrice Muamba.

Isle of Man resident Eddie Davies watched from home in shock on Saturday night as the 23 year old suffered a cardiac arrest during his team's FA Cup match with Tottenham.

While he remains in intensive care, the London Chest Hospital says Muamba's showing 'small signs of improvement'.

His heart is beating without the help of medication, he's breathing independently and moving his arms and legs.

Mr Davies says there’s hope.
