Shell Out and Crack the Easter Code

by isleofman.com 19th March 2012

Children in Douglas town centre on Easter Saturday, April 7 can enter a treasure hunt to track down clues that will earn them a chocolate bunny.

Organised by Douglas Development Partnership in association with Davisons the treasure hunt costs just 50p to enter at The Chocolate Box in Regent Street where children can pick up an entry form. The form will lead them to shops in the town centre displaying a clue in the window. Each clue is a letter and when all the letters have been tracked down, they will spell out a word or words. Children then take their completed form to Tower House where the first 200 with the correct answer can claim their Davisons chocolate bunny, join an Easter craft workshop and have their face painted.

Douglas town centre manager Gill Anderson said: ‘We’re delighted to have teamed up with Davisons to sweeten the Easter break with this treasure hunt, just one of a whole programme of events we have planned throughout the year to help make visiting Douglas town centre an enjoyable, fun experience for all ages.’

Ian Davison said: ‘As a leading retailer in Douglas town centre Davisons applauds the innovative schemes Douglas Development Partnership is implementing to re-energise the town centre so we are pleased to support Gill in the treasure hunt this Easter,  a time when spring is in the air, which has to be a good reason to celebrate with chocolate.’
