Marsh IOM will host four risk training sessions this month for the Island’s business community.
Each workshop runs for three hours and takes place at Marsh IOM’s offices at Rose House, Circular Road, Douglas. The first, at 9.30am on Wednesday, March 28, will focus on ‘Supply Chain Risk Management’ and aims to help business leaders identify potentially critical points of failure along the supply chain and to develop strategies for increasing resilience.
The second workshop – ‘Managing Employee Wellbeing in the Workplace’ – will take place at 1.30pm the same day and offers practical guidance on developing and implementing appropriate systems relating to the wellbeing of employees, including legal requirements for stress management.
Starting at 9.30am on Thursday, March 29, the third workshop – ‘Accident Reporting and Investigation’ – will focus on ensuring work-related accidents are thoroughly investigated and the correct reporting procedures are in place.
The final workshop, at 1.30pm on the Thursday, is titled ‘Minimising Contentious Claims’ and will look at the key components of systems designed to help businesses manage safety effectively, thereby reducing costs and minimising contentious claims.
Sarah Hewitt, CEO of Marsh Isle of Man, said: ‘We’ve had some fantastic interest in, and feedback from, seminars and workshops we’ve staged over the last few years and these four events are proving to be just as popular. If you’ve not yet booked your place, there is still time to do so.
‘Risk covers a variety of issues and it can be difficult to stay on top of the developments in all areas. The idea for these workshops is to both provide an understanding for those new to these subjects and act as a refresher for those who need to bring themselves up-to-speed on recent changes.’
Each of the four workshops costs £125. For further details, or to book a place, please contact Valerie.Mulhern@marsh.com
