The Island's politicians will this week vote on whether or not to start paying towards their pensions.
A Tynwald committee chaired by Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan has recommended a three per cent contribition from the coming financial year, rising to five per cent by 2014.
Manx Radio emailed the 32 Tynwald members last week, asking whether or not they intend to pay-in as of April 1.
As of this morning (Monday), we've received 25 replies; 19 MHKs and 6 MLCs.
Of those, 23 told us they were in favour of members contributing to their pensions, and would be paying into the scheme if the proposals were approved by Tynwald.
Three MHKs also told us, without any prompt, that they'd already declined the recently agreed, backdated civil service pay award of 1.2 per cent.
A couple of the newer members said, though they were in favour of the proposals, they didn't think they went far enough.
Two members responded with a 'no comment' and were unwilling to disclose their intentions to Manx Radio.
