Manx Telecom Sponsors Royal Manx Show

by isleofman.com 16th March 2012

Manx Telecom has announced that it is sponsoring this year’s Royal Manx Show - the Island’s second biggest public attraction after the TT which will again be held at Knockaloe Farm, Patrick, as it was in 2011.

David Smith, Manx Telecom Marketing Director, said the company’s sponsorship would aim to raise the profile of the event even further and attract a greater number of younger visitors. He added:

“We’re very proud to be sponsoring this year’s show and will be working with the organisers to make it even bigger and better. We have had a stand at the Royal Manx Show for several years now and it is a wonderful community occasion. In a few months’ time we will have an exciting announcement to make about a new attraction Manx Telecom is bringing to this year’s event, and our sponsorship also includes helping with publicity to attract more visitors.”

Colin Kelly, President of the Royal Manx Agricultural Society, commented:
“We’re delighted that Manx Telecom is supporting the show as main sponsor this year and welcome their assistance in helping us to promote the event and add new and exciting attractions.”

The Royal Manx Show with Manx Telecom is the latest major event to be sponsored by the Island’s leading telecoms provider. Other events include the Manx Telecom Parish Walk and Manx Telecom Post TT Races.
