Friends Provident International (FPI) is celebrating the achievements of two employees who were recognised at the Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute annual dinner last week.
Brendan Harper, Technical Services Manager, won the prestigious Glyn Gilbert award. The award is issued each year to a member of the Institute who has achieved outstanding academic success across all industry sectors and it is the highest award presented by the Institute for examination success. Brendan, whose success was attributed to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status, is leading by example to encourage the rest of the FPI Technical Team to work towards achieving this status.
Laura Critchley, who received the Glyn Gilbert award in 2011, was presented with the AON prize for outstanding academic success in insurance examinations this year. Laura was recognised for the hard work and commitment she has demonstrated in her journey towards reaching Chartered status. Laura went the extra mile, completing all three pension papers in one sitting, passing each one and being awarded two distinctions.
Jonathan Hall, general manager and director, Friends Provident International, said:
"For the third time in five years the Friends Provident International Technical Team has had an excellent result at the Isle of Man Insurance and Financial Services Institute awards. The team has shown consistent commitment to training and development to ensure the highest standards in their profession."
