Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings finished 6th at today's penultimate round of the World Cup in Italy.

The 26 year-old from Ronague finished 3rd in both her quarter-final and semi-final to make it through to the final at the Valmalenco resort.

Unfortunately she finished last but it is her third best result of the season from six rounds.

Zoe remains 7th in the overall World Cup standings but still has a chance to finish as high as 4th depending on results later this week.

There is little chance for any rest as qualifying for the final round is at the same venue and takes place tomorrow with racing on Friday.
