Despite a big training crash earlier in the week, Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings has safely qualified for tomorrow's penultimate round of the World Cup in Italy.
She set the 11th fastest time from her first run down the course at Valmalenco but was disqualified during her second attempt and therefore couldn't improve her placing.
The 26 year-old from Ronague will race in the third quarter-final tomorrow - she is the third seed of six competitors with the top three going forward to the semi-finals.
Zoe is currently 7th in the overall World Cup standings.
The final round of the series takes place at the same venue later in the week.
