Scotland Call on Cringle

by isleofman.com 13th March 2012

Manx Rugby player Phil Cringle has been picked in the Scotland Under-18 National Academy squad for this weekend's match against England at Hawick.

There will be two days training at the venue ahead of the fixture on Saturday.

Cringle is currently at Kirkham Grammar School which is situated midway between Blackpool and Preston.

He represented the Isle of Man last September in the Rugby sevens tournament at The Bowl as part of the Commonwealth Youth Games.

Cringle has been helped financially by Isle of Man Sport Aid and has just been announced as a recipient of a Gubay "Chase Your Dream" Bursary.
