Representatives of the Isle of Man's space industry are in Washington DC for a major conference and exhibition.

Satellite 2012 is being held over the course of the next three days.

Corporate service provider Cavendish Trust has joined forces with ManSat, to sell the Island as a place to do business in the space and satellite industries.

Cavendish Trust director Tina Rawlinson, ManSat's chairman and CEO Chris Stott and board director Ian Jarritt are all there.

Joining them are the government's director of space commerce Tim Craine and Alex Downie MLC, the member with responsibility for space business.
