The Ben my Chree is sailing as usual again today.
The vessel had serious technical problems with one of its engines and a bow thrust unit yesterday (Sat). The 8am sailing to Birkenhead had to turn around and return to Douglas on half power, eventually arriving back in port around 3.15pm.
The vessel was due for a scheduled maintenance session last night, when the problem was repaired.
Steam Packet Chief Executive Mark Woodward has again apologised for the inconvenience caused by yesterday's incident.
