Chinese medicine talk this afternoon

by isleofman.com 11th March 2012

The origins and use of Chinese medicine will be discussed by the Island's Freethinkers today (Sunday).

The group's invited Island-based Dr Sophie Wang to its March meeting this afternoon at the Douglas Bay Yacht Club.

She'll give a talk on Chinese medicinal principles and take questions from the Freethinkers, a group of humanists, agnostics and atheists.

Secretary Paul Ginns admits it's an unusual topic and one many people have pre-conceptions about:

The meeting is in the Douglas Bay Yacht Club lounge on the harbour tongue, starting at 2pm.
