Ayre Face Relegation

by isleofman.com 10th March 2012

Football - Ayre could be relegated from Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

If they slip to a 19th straight defeat at home to relegation rivals Gymns, and Ramsey Youth Centre avoid defeat at Castletown, Ayre will do down.

Elsewhere, Grand Slam chasing St. George's meet St. John's at Glencrutchery Road looking for their 11th consecutive victory.

Second placed Laxey travel to fourth-in-the-table Rushen, Ramsey host St. Mary's and Old Boys tackle Peel at Blackberry Lane.

In Division Two, Union Mills have the weekend off to recover from their F.A. Cup heroics at Rushen last Saturday.

That gives leaders on goal difference Marown the chance to move three points clear at the top if they manage a home win over Foxdale.
