Competition aims to boost visitors to Island

by isleofman.com 9th March 2012

Travel and tourism website TravelNews.im is launching a competition to attract more visitors to the Island.

New subscribers to the site will automatically be entered into a free prize draw to win a holiday to the Isle of Man including luxury accommodation at The Claremont Hotel and free flights from any of Manx2.com’s destinations.

Hattie Castle, director of TravelNews.im, said: ‘Since TravelNews.im was launched last autumn, the website has built up a loyal following and the number of subscribers we have is growing every week.

‘We’re hoping current subscribers will tell their friends and relatives about the competition. We know our subscribers share our passion and commitment in promoting the Island and its many attractions, and this competition is a great way to encourage more people to take a closer look at what the Isle of Man has to offer tourists and business travellers.’

The competition will run until April 21 when the draw will be made. Simply go to TravelNews.im to enter.

TravelNews.im was launched last autumn with support from the Department of Economic Development and Chamber of Commerce.

Every week the website carries the latest news about the travel and tourism industry and a weekly newsletter is emailed free to all subscribers, featuring news items covering airlines, ferry companies, hotels, and all other sectors of the Island’s travel, hospitality, and tourism industries.

Subscribers can also keep up to date via the travelnews.im Facebook page.

TravelNews.im is sponsored by Manx2.com and is in association with Manx Radio.
