Cuts for Fire and Rescue Service

Three staff are to go as the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service looks to make savings of ?221,000 in the coming financial year.

One full-time senior officer and two retained ones will leave through what the service is calling 'natural turnover'.

The lease on its headquarters at Elm Tree House in Onchan will end, with staff based there moving to Department of Home Affairs premises on Woodbourne Road.
