Parish on Course for Record Entry

This year's Manx Telecom Parish Walk looks set to have more people taking part than ever before.

In 2011, a record 1,756 registered for the event and organisers have set themselves a challenge of 2,000 on the startline at the National Sports Centre on Saturday 23rd June.

So far over 800 have signed-on for the 85 mile journey around all 17 parish churches on the island.

Race Director Ray Cox says compared to a year ago they are firmly on target for a new record:-
