Commercial vehicles counted

by isleofman.com 7th March 2012

The Isle of Man has 745 commercial heavy goods vehicles, it’s been revealed.

The figures were given by Infrastructure Minster David Cretney in response to a question for written reply in the House of Keys yesterday.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton wanted to know how many HGVs there are on the Island, and how many are commercial and non-commercial.

Mr Cretney says there are 382 goods vehicles, 310 vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tonnes and 53 articulated lorries.
