Anglers need licences for new season

by isleofman.com 7th March 2012

Anglers in the Island can buy their 2012 licences from today just before the start of the new season.

The reservoir fishing season and newly-introduced coarse season begin on Friday and anglers are reminded they need a licence before fishing for the first time.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has also introduced changes to fishing methods and techniques and those heading out with a rod should make sure they've read the new regulations first.

You can buy a fishing licence from Isle of Man post offices from today or online via gov.im/onlineservices.
