A government minister says he’s confident safety levels will be met for this year’s TT and Manx Grand Prix, after a new company was awarded the contract for course safety.
Economic Development head John Shimmin revealed in the House of Keys that Manx-based Marlow Construction had tendered for and won the contract to carry out safety works on the course. The job had previously been done by another company for more than 30 years.
Mr Shimmin told the Keys his department and Treasury evaluated a number of tenders:
