Prestigious law prize for trainee advocate

A local trainee advocate has won a prestigious law award.

Tara Cubbon, who is training with local firm Dougherty Quinn, was recently invited to an annual award ceremony in Chester to be presented with the Regulatory Law Prize having obtained 100% in the Professional Conduct exam.

Tara completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester last June and started training with DQ in September.

She works for the firm's corporate and commercial department and is sitting the Manx Bar Finals in May this year.
