Police thank public for appeal response

by isleofman.com 5th March 2012

Police are thanking the public for their help following last week's appeal about a dog attack.

The animal went after sheep grazing on fields next to Ballanard Road.

Police say as a result of the appeal they have traced the dog responsible and its owner, who has been reported.

Pc Michael Taylor from the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging all dog owners to ensure their animals are kept on a lead, and not to walk them near livestock at the moment.
