Man seriously injured in off-road accident

A man's been seriously injured after an off-road motorbike accident yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

The crash happened on the Honey Hill track off the Creg-ny-Baa back road and paramedics needed the fire crew to help them through the difficult terrain.

They used a Pinzgauer 4x4, which is a high-mobility vehicle, often used in the military.

The motorcyclist was stabilised at the scene but has a possible broken arm, ribs, collarbone and back injuries.
