by isleofman.com 3rd March 2012

The Manx Labour Party’s called for a quick decision to be made over the future of state-run pre-schools.

A government working group is assessing the future of pre-school education with plans agreed to transfer government run units into private ownership from September.

However, at its monthly meeting, the party reiterated its policy that all children should be given a free place at a nursery or preschool and called for parents to be given more information about the proposals.
