Bosses at the Island's meat plant say they expect Manx meat to be back on Tesco's shelves within two weeks.
They've revealed inspectors from the supermarket chain carried out an unannounced early morning audit on the plant.
As a result it failed to meet several standards demanded by Tesco.
Documentation processes have since been changed and a manual metal detector replaced.
Meat Plant chairman Graham Crowe is stressing no animal welfare or meat safety issues were raised.
