New venture offers island golf breaks

The Island's nine golf courses are to be promoted together in the UK and beyond for the first time, by a new company offering bespoke golfing breaks.

Isle of Man Golf Tours has been launched by businessman Martin Young and former police officer Ged Power, both keen golfers.

The new venture will offer tailor-made golfing packages to meet the needs of visiting players, with everything from the booking of tees and equipment hire, to airport pick-ups, accomodation and evening entertainment organised.

There'll be a strong focus on the choice of links, heath and parkland courses available, all within easy reach.

Martin Young says the internet-based business aims to promote a unique Manx golfing experience:
