Police investigate 'disturbance' at Clagh Vane

A MALE suffered facial injuries following a 'disturbance' on the Clagh Vane estate in Ballasalla.

 

The incident involved five or six people and resulted in the injured person needing hospital treatment.

 

It happened early on Saturday evening in Cobbold Place, a lane off the main road through Clagh Vane which leads to Ballasalla Primary School.

 

Police said it is believed the offenders and the victim were known to each other.

 

There were a number of people in the area at the time using the shop and fast food take away and police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
