Hopes Manx meat soon back in Tesco

Tesco's decision to stop selling Manx meat may be reversed within a week.

Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne says he's confident the issues which led to the supermarket chain's decision can be quickly resolved.

Managers at the meat plant have told him Tesco's concerns are centred on production issues not meat quality.

Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Gawne says the loss of a major customer is bad news for the troubled plant:
