End-of-life talk today

A House of Lords cross-bencher will give a talk on end-of-life care and euthanasia in Douglas today (Monday).

Baronness Ilora Finlay is Professor of Palliative Medicine at the University of Cardiff.

She's been invited by Bishop Robert Paterson, to tour the hospice and discuss the treatment of terminally ill patients with health care staff.

There's a chance for the public to hear Baroness Finlay's views at St George's Church this lunchtime between 12.30 and 2pm.

Bishop Robert says it's open to all and if you only have an hour's break from work - bring your lunch:
