Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan will press for more details about government consultants next week.
In Tynwald, he has three questions for written answer on the topic.
He’ll ask Chief Minister Allan Bell for more details after a question in January revealed the government spends almost ?12 million on consultants.
Mr Rodan will ask whether the boards and bodies which said they employ no consultants actually employ people under contract to perform similar functions.
Mr Rodan will also quiz the Chief Minister about 32 arms of government including the Arts Council, Companies Registry, Post Office and MEA.
In particular, he wants a list of contractors working for each body, the contract’s purpose and how long each has yet to run.
And in his final question, he’ll ask whether each consultant or contractor pays National Insurance and income tax here on the Isle of Man.
And if that is the case, Mr Rodan will also ask how much money that comes to in total.
