Anyone interested in the complex issue of end-of-life care is invited to a keynote public talk in Douglas on Monday.
Cross-bench member of the House of Lords, Baroness Ilora Finlay, is professor of palliative medicine at Cardiff University.
She's been invited to the Island by Bishop Robert Paterson to see the work of hospice and discuss care of the terminally ill with health professionals.
The Baroness will hold a public lecture in St George's Church in Douglas on Monday lunchtime.
Bishop Robert says it's a chance to hear first-hand from a leading authority on the issues:
The public talk is between 12.30pm and 2pm.
You are welcome to bring your lunch!
