Extraordinary!

The Isle of Man have done it again!

A remarkable fightback sealed a place in the Inter League Cup semi-finals after a thriller at the Bowl.

The hosts seemed dead and buried when they trailed Liverpool 3-0 at half-time.

However, a stirring comeback secured an unlikely 5-3 success.

Nick Hurt reduced the arrears from the penalty spot before Chris Bass junior and Ciaran McNulty brought the Island level.

The sending-off of the Liverpool goalkeeper helped the Island gain further impetus and with extra-time looming, two injury time goals in as many minutes from Bass and Callum Morrisey won the tie before a big home crowd.

Manager Kevin Manning spoke to Tony Mepham after the final whistle.
