Young boy attacked by dog on golf course

A YOUNG boy is believed to have been attacked by a dog on Pulrose Golf Course.

 

Police are investigating the incident which happened at around 5pm yesterday (February 16).

 

They believe the child may have been attacked by a young white and brown Bull Terrier type of dog.

 

It is believed the boy was taken to his home in Pulrose by an older female following the incident.

 

Police are now trying to establish the identity of the child and the dog in order to "ensure the welfare of the young boy".

 

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 01624 631212.
