Learn more about the work of UNICEF

by isleofman.com 17th February 2012

There is an opportunity this evening (Friday) for people in the Isle of Man to find out how they can help save children's lives.

A local fundraising event for the charity UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) will explain how money donated is used to provide emergency food, supplies and healthcare.

Voirrey Collister, who recently returned from a field trip, will talk about the work she is doing to encourage others to make a difference (listen to audio file below):

The talk is at the Noble's Park Pavillion, from 7.30pm.
