Children to go "Out2Play" in half term

by isleofman.com 16th February 2012

CHILDREN have the opportunity to spend the school half term playing and making new friends on the Out2Play scheme next week.

The free scheme, which is run by The Children's Centre, starts on Monday, February 20.

All sessions are run by "playworkers" from the centre, supported by volunteers, and are suitable for children aged four to 11.

Children under the age of four are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Chris Gregory, the playwork development officer at The Children's Centre, said: "With the success of October's Out2Play being a totally outside event we have continued to do the same in February. All we ask, again, is that the children come dressed for any weather and they'll be sure to have a great time."

For more information about the Out2Play sessions e-mail info@thechildrenscentre.org.im or call 01624 676076.
