Alannah hopes to train with the Gunners

It's a big day (Thursday) for a football-mad Ramsey teenager

Alannah Hall will fulfil a lifetime dream when she trials at the Arsenal Ladies Elite Football Scheme.

The 17-year-old will join twelve other players from the United Kingdom bidding to train with Arsenal, the country's most successful women's football team.

Alannah, who plays for Gymns and the Isle of Man national team, received her invitation from Arsenal goalkeeper Emma Byrne.

She is currently studying a diploma in sport, specialising in football studies in Lancashire.
