A 23-year-old man from Norris Green in Liverpool, charged with importing ?6,000 worth of diamorphine, has made a further court appearance.
Jamie Daniel Blanchard is also accused of importing cannabis and possessing both drugs with intent to supply.
The offences were allegedly committed on February 5.
Prosecutor Justin Bullace said the diamorphine weighed two and half ounces and asked for a four week adjournment, which was granted.
There was no application for bail, and magistrates remanded the defendant in custody until March 13.
