Minister reveals consultant's pay

Health Minister David Anderson says consultants working at Noble's Hospital earn between ?35 and ?62 an hour.

He gave the figures in response to a House of Keys question for written reply, from Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer.

Mr Anderson revealed there are 20 pay grades for consultants, with those on the lowest grade earning ?74,500 a year.

At the top of the pay scale are consultants who earn just over ?129,000.
