Creg-ny-Baa road accident inquest resumes

More details will emerge today (Wednesday) about the circumstances surrounding the death of a 21-year-old Onchan man.

Christopher James Heaney died in October 2011, five weeks after a road accident at the Creg-ny-Baa.

Mr Heaney suffered multiple injuries, including severe brain damage, when the car he was driving crashed at the junction of the Mountain Road and the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road.

The accident happened at around 1am on Saturday, September 3.

The inquest is due to resume at 10am, at Douglas Courthouse.
