Table toppers both hit 11

The leaders of the Wi-Manx men’s Premier Division went on a goal fest to maintain their 100 per cent record on Saturday.

Prolific marksmen Ollie Webster (four) and Gareth Morris (three) led the rout as Valkyrs A hit 11 past Ramsey.

Chris Caldwell, Stephen Moore, Steven Lowe and Neil Jacobs grabbed the others in the 11-2 romp.

Ray Nanda and Matt Robertson notched the northerners’ consolations.

Reigning champions Bacchas A left it late before overcoming a scare from their B side.

Doubles from Karl Moore and Johnny Callow secured a 4-3 victory.

Paul Kelly and Sven Lindeque were both on target as Castletown added weight to their claim for third spot with an impressive 4-2 win over Vikings A, whose goals were scored by Conor Byrne and Dave Millward.

The top team in the Wi-Manx women’s Premier Division also hit 11 as reigning champions Vikings A thrashed Bacchas B.

Kim Carney (four), Kirsty Cooper (two), Sarah Blackman (two), Louise Slater, Hayley Crowe and Sarah Breen all found the net in an 11-1 demolition.

Sharon Pope and Claire Louise Lace were the scorers as Bacchas A edged out Valkyrs A 2-1.

Emma Faulkner scored for the westerners.

Zoe Shimmin, Jane Irvine, Katie Tinkler and Hannah Leece scored the goals as Castletown A hit four past Ramsey without reply.
