The Space Foundation is a global, non-profit organisation and the foremost advocate for all sectors of the space industry.

It leads in space awareness activities, major industry events, space related educational enterprises and space-related research.

The commercial space sector is continuing to grow in the Island.

Chief executive officer of the Space Foundation, Elliot Pulham, will be the key note speaker at a dinner to mark the visit which will be sponsored by KPMG Isle of Man.

KPMG director Gregory Jones said: "This is a great opportunity for businesses on the Isle of Man to learn more about this growing industry and to interact with our Island's space participants."

Together with Vice President of Education for the Space Foundation, Iain Probert, Mr Pulham will also be presenting a talk to science teachers in the Island as well as attending a number of meetings with local industry and government.

Carla Sharpe, Director of Space Ventures Consulting, has coordinated the visit, on February 16 and 17, and reiterated the importance of interaction like this to showcase the Island and to build international relationships towards further development of the local space industry.
