PokerStars.eu moves a step closer

by isleofman.com 10th February 2012

PokerStars is continuing its invasion of Europe, with yet another licence to operate in a new jurisdiction.

The firm says it's been granted a licence by Malta and the launch of PokerStars.eu has moved a step closer.

The aim would be for the site to offer European players tax-free online poker play through Malta's EU membership.

It's the latest in a string of licences the Douglas-based firm has been granted, others being in Belgium, France, Italy, Estonia and Denmark.

The company has also applied for permission to operate in Spain.
