IT has been exactly one year since a Manx2.com flight crashed in Ireland killing six people.
On February 10, 2011, theflight, which was being operated by Flightline BCN, crashed on its third attempt at landing at Cork Airport.
The plane, a NM7100 metro liner SW4, had taken off from Belfast City Airport at 7.50am and was due to land in Cork at 9am.
However the plane, which was carrying 10 passengers and two crew, crashed in low visibility shortly before 10am.
An interim statement published by the Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit, earlier this week, described the plane's final moments.
It said: "Approaching the runway threshold the aircraft rolled to the left followed by a rapid roll to the right during which the right wingtip contacted the runway surface.
"The aircraft continued to roll and impacted the runway in a fully inverted position. The aircraft departed the runway surface to the right and came to rest in soft ground."
Both of the plane's engines then caught fire.
The six victims were named as Brendan McAleese, Pat Cullinan and Michael Evans - who were all from Northern Ireland - co-pilot Andrew Cantle and passenger Richard Noble from England and Spanish pilot Jordi Gola Lopez.
An investigation into the plane crash by the Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit is ongoing which Manx2.com said had its "fullest" support.
A statement released earlier this week by Manx2.com said: "Our thoughts this week are with the families of those who lost their lives, those injured and everyone affected by the tragic crash at Cork Airport on February 10, 2011."
