In a statement released by Manx2.com the company said the ongoing investigation had its "fullest" support.

The statement said: "Our thoughts this week are with the families of those who lost their lives, those injured and everyone affected by the tragic crash at Cork Airport almost one year ago on February 10, 2011.

"We welcome the interim statement published today by the Air Accident Investigation Unit of the Irish Department of Transport (AAIU) which is continuing to conduct a full and thorough investigation into the crash of flight NM 7100 from Belfast to Cork, which was operated by Flightline BCN.

"This is a very thorough investigation, and with a number of technical and regulatory aspects still being explored, the AAIU continues to have our fullest support and co-operation.

"It would be inappropriate for Manx2.com to comment further during this on-going AAIU investigation."
