An inquiry investigating allegations of corruption within local government has heard from the man behind the claims.
A Tynwald select committee sat for the first time yesterday (Monday) and heard the concerns of Rae Hamilton, the former tenant of Onchan Squash Club.
Among other things, Mr Hamilton is claiming that former chairman of Onchan Commissioners Brian Stowell should not have been involved in the board's decision to replace the squash club in Onchan Park with a dance school.
Speaking on Mandate at Six yesterday (Monday), Manx Radio's James Davis said Mr Hamilton wants more robust legislation for members of local authorities and their declarations of interest:
