Call for more street entertainers

by isleofman.com 6th February 2012

A CALL has gone out to performers in the Isle of Man who would be interested in showcasing their talents on the streets of Douglas.

The Douglas Development Partnership is looking for street entertainers including amateurs, professionals, solo artists, groups, bands, living statues and magicians.

Gill Anderson, the town centre manager for Douglas, said: "Douglas is yours to perform in. You don't have to be the next Gaga or Robbie – just be willing to give it a go and join our register of street performers."

To find out more about signing up as a street performer telephone Gill on 01624 612022 or e-mail ganderson@douglas.gov.im.
