A union chief is urging a local authority to reconsider its stance over kerbside recycling, in a bid to save jobs.
Up to three posts could go at Onchan Commissioners from April, after the local authority lost a contract to provide refuse services for homes in Braddan to Douglas Borough Council.
Two years ago the district board shed a number of office staff and outside worker posts.
Head of Unite Steve Salter believes more redundancies can be avoided if the board reverses its decision to stop kerbside recycling.
