Stephanie Frankham had been appointed Isle of Man chairwoman of women's business support organisation Forward Ladies.
Forward Ladies runs more than 300 events a year. It offers mentoring support to members and provides opportunities to inspire and encourage women in their professional life.
Stephanie, a fiduciary administrator at Moore Stephens Trust Company Limited, said: "On a personal level, I have found Forward Ladies very useful to get to know other professional women on the Island.
"The Isle of Man is the perfect environment for exchanging information through attending networking events."
Stephanie studied Business Management at university in Zambia and is training to become a Chartered Secretary.
She has been working in the fiduciary services industry since moving to the Island in 2006.

Stephanie is starting off 2012 by organising the first Forward Ladies social event of the year – a "Celebration of the Success of Women on the Island".
