by isleofman.com 3rd February 2012

POLICE are investigating after a van had its wing mirror snapped off leaving the owner with a large repair bill.

The white Citroen Relay van, parked on Princes Street in Douglas, was damaged between 2pm on Saturday, January 28 and 9.30am on Sunday, January 29.

PC Ben Horan said: "The cost of replacing a vehicle wing mirror can be surprisingly high leaving the owner considerably out of pocket.

"The police would like to hear from anybody who may have been involved in, or seen, the incident."

Anyone with information can contact PC Horan by telephoning 01624 631212.
